Larry King Death
The parents of deceased Oxnard, California, teenager Larry King filed a lawsuit against the school district and county, claiming that lax dress code enforcement had led to their son's shooting death.1 King, who was gay, had reportedly worn makeup and feminine clothing to E.O. Green Junior High School, where he was shot by another student in February 2008.1 According to King's parents, the district was partly liable for his death.1
