Lake Lanier

Lake Lanier, a man made lake in Georgia is being affected by the drought. As the lake recedes, artifacts from before the lake was formed in the 1950s are being uncovered. Due to rainfall from Tropical Storm Fay, Lake Lanier's water level may rise up to four feet.¹
