The LG VX8800 Venus is one of the New Verizon Phones. It is a slider phone that features a touch screen, two megapixel camera and the ability to play MP3s, WMAs, and other supported audio files. The phone is one part viewing screen, one part touch screen and has a sliding numeric keypad.

Multimedia Uses
The two inch viewing screen allows playback of video using the Verizon V Cast system and location mapping using GPS and the VZ Navigator software. The on-board music player supports a feature to run in the background, so users can listen to music while using other applications on the phone.
Reviews
The design gives the best of three worlds, the sliding numeric keypad, a touch pad for phone navigation and a substantial screen for viewing media. Some people report issues with the touch screen however as it does not always recognize when it is being pressed.
