L'avventura
Michelangelo Antonioni's film L'avventura won the Special Jury Prize at the 1960 Cannes Film Festival. The story follows wealthy young Italians as they search for their missing friend. The story is told in an unorthodox narrative structure and emphasizes the shallowness and vacuous personalities of its main characters.1
