NFL Career
Kurt Warner went undrafted in 1994 and attended training camp for the Green Bay Packers. After being released before the start of the season, Warner played in the Arena Football League from 1995 to 1997. Warner signed with the St. Louis Rams in 1998.1
During the 1999 season, Warner took over the starting quarterback position after Trent Green went down with an injury. Warner went on to have one of the best seasons for a quarterback in the history of the NFL. His 4,353 passing yards and 41 touchdown passes helped the Rams' offense earn the nickname "The Greatest Show on Turf." Warner led the Rams through the playoffs all the way to a victory in Super Bowl XXXIV, with Warner winning the game's MVP award.1
