Guide Note:Krumping is a relatively new form of dance within the "urban" and street dance movements.
Fast Facts:
- Originated in Long Beach and throughout South Central Los Angeles in the late 1990s
- Part of, or evolved from, "Clowning"
- Dancers sometime paint their faces (a holdover tradition from "Clowning" or Clown Dancing)
