Kristina Chen is a teenage girl who posts to YouTube and MySpace under the handle "Tinaecmusic." She is a fan of Christian and pop music and frequently will sing along with her favorite songs on camera. According to her bio on YouTube, her favorite artists incude Kelly Clarkson, Rachel Stevens, Backstreet Boys and The Jonas Brothers. Her videos are all shot in the same location, what appears to be her bedroom, filled with photos on the walls and stuffed animals.

Kristina has build up a devoted following on the Internet. It has been suggested that some of her more outrageous behavior and statements may be a result of a mental deficiency or illness, making the laughter and attention directed at her cruel or inappropriate, but this has never been confirmed. Comments by Chen in one video indicated that she may be homophobic, which drew the attention of gossip blogger Perez Hilton. In response to these and other criticisms, Kristina removed all old videos from her YouTube account. Preserved copies can still be found from a variety of sources around the Web.
