Career
In 1992, Kristen Bell began acting in local theatre productions while growing up near Detroit. Nine years later, she left college early to accept a part in the Broadway production of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. In 2002, Bell moved to Los Angeles where she was able to land small roles in film and television. Her big break came in 2004 when she landed the lead role on Veronica Mars. In 2008, a year after the cancellation of Veronica Mars, Bell starred in the comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
