Ever-Changing Release Date
The Killshot release date has been changed five times since 2005. Changes were made to the original script by Anthony Minghella and Sydney Pollack and scenes have been reshot.1
The Los Angeles Times reports that studio owner Harvey Weinstein attributed the most recent delay to the desire for a premiere that would capitalize on the presumed Oscar buzz for Mickey Rourke's performance in The Wrestler.2
