Kevin Spacey

Kevin Spacey spent many years toiling as a theater actor before getting a string of small parts in films starting in the late 1980s. His breakthrough role in The Usual Suspects also earned him the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for 1995. He swiftly rose to be one of the most coveted actors in Hollywood. Four years later he played his second Oscar winning role, in American Beauty. While conquering Hollywood, Spacey never left theater all the way behind. He starred in the 1998 revival of The Iceman Cometh, and in 2003 was named the artistic director of London's Old Vic Theater. Spacey is very private about his personal life, saying it makes it easier for people to watch him in role if they don't know much about him.
