Guide Note:Major League Baseball player who is a first baseman Kendry Morales currently plays for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

Prior to his MLB career, Morales played baseball in Cuba and for the Cuban National Team. After several failed attempts to get into the MLB, Morales was banned from the Cuban leagues, and played in the Dominican Republic.

On April 7, 2005 he signed with the Angels to a reported six year $3 million contract, and was sent to the Angels' minor league affiliates.

Morales was called up the following season to make his MLB debut with the Angels on May 23, 2006. He played a total of 57 games his rookie year, hitting 21 runs in 197 attempts at bat.

He returned to the Angels for part of the 2007 season, playing 43 major league games, including joining them in their short playoff run. Morales played in the American League Divisional Series, losing to the eventual World Series Champion Boston Red Sox.

Prior to the 2008 season, the Angels placed Morales with their minor league team. Fast Facts:
