Joseph Nacchio
Joseph Nacchio is the former CEO of
Qwest communications. In 2007, Nacchio was convicted of insider trading and sentenced to six years in prison. On March 17 2008, an appellate court in
Denver overturned Nacchio's conviction and ordered a re-trial to take place. Judge Michael McConnell, who wrote the opinion, cited the original judge's decision not to allow a key defense witness to testify as the main reason for the overturned conviction.
