Jordan Knight
Jordan Knight is a former member of boy band New Kids On The Block. He was a part of the group from the late 1980s until the early 1990s. The band split up in 1994 and attempted to reunite in 1999. After the group separated, Knight continued to work on his musical career, releasing a few albums along the way. One of those albums was his self-titled Jordan Knight. He also has appeared on multiple television shows including, The Surreal Life.
The New Kids On The Block performed on the May 16, 2008, episode of The Today Show to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their hit album Hangin Tough.1

Career
At a very young age Jordan Knight was already interested in music. He even sang in the church choir along with his other siblings. He sang at mass and three other times during the week also. He and his brother Jonathan Knight were so good at singing they became head singers of the choir. When he was not singing you could find him break-dancing on the busy streets of Boston. In 1984, he received his big break when he auditioned and became a member of the upcoming boy band New Kids On The Block. His brother Jonathan Knight was another who made the band. This band would pave the way for many other future boy bands such as *NSYNC and The Backstreet Boys.
From the years 1984 through 1994, New Kids On The Block were a very successful group. According to Forbes in 1991 the band members were the "world's highest-paid performers ($115 million)".2
