Jonathan Miller

Jonathan Miller was the CEO of AOL from 2002 until 2006, when he relinquished the role to current CEO Randy Falco. Before becoming CEO of AOL, Miller was the president and CEO of USA Information and Services (USAIS).¹

The Wall Street Journal has reported in December 2008 that Miller may be trying to raise funding to buyout some, or all, of Internet search engine Yahoo!. Miller is said to be talking with private equity and sovereign wealth funds to raise the estimated the $28 to $30 billion needed to accomplish a buyout. The rumor of Yahoo! buyout comes on the heels of a July 2008 rumor that Miller may be chosen to to occupy a vacant seat on the Yahoo! board of directors.^{2 3}
