Criminal Background
In 1990, Schillaci was convicted and sentenced to ten years in prison for sexually assaulting two eleven-year-old boys in Texas. After his release in 1999, Schillaci moved into the home of a Deerfield, New Hampshire, couple who had befriended him while he was in prison and who thought that he had been rehabilitated. Schillaci then allegedly molested the couple's five-year-old son and fled.1
