Jon Hensley
Jon Hensley is an American born actor who lived in Bucks Country, Pennsylvania where his parents operated a French restaurant. He was a busboy and cook until he decided it was time to leave the family business and study journalism at New York University. Arriving late, there was no dorm space which forced him to seek living quarters at the YMCA. He had to share a room with a stranger and frequently was unsettled with all the strange people he heard and encountered. Luckily he met a woman who eventually became his manager and asked him to try his fortune at acting. She sent him to audition for Another World but instead he landed the role of Brody Price on One Life to Live. He was let go by the soap and got the role that led to his stardom as Holden Snyder on As The World Turns. After awhile he wanted a change and left the show for London, England.

Romeo Romeo
Jon Hensley studied at the Shakespeare Academy of Music, Drama, and Art. In 1990 he wanted to return to As The World Turns. Holden was paired with Heather Rattray who now played the part of Lily. This was not a fan friendly plot idea so they gave Holden amnesia. He left the show again when Martha Byrne returned to play Lily. During his time away he was working on numerous television roles such as Wounded Heart, Beverly Hills 90210 and Almost Perfect. During this phase of his life he met and married former As The World Turns co-star Kelley Menighan Hensley in Chicago.
Hopeful
Jon Hensley signed three more years because they hired a new producer by the name of Christopher Goutman. He was hopeful that now his character would have more of a sense of direction. Still having two more years on his contract and still playing opposite Martha Byrne, Jon Hensley's character has not changed direction. Hopefully, he will be given a new sense of direction before his contract expires.

Quote from Jon Hensley
- I had literally no experience. I was frightened of acting, and here I was doing scenes with Liz Hubbard (Lucinda) and that can be intimidating for anybody.
