Singer John Legend debuted his new song If You're Out There on August 25 at the 2008 Democratic Convention. The song opened the first night of the convention and is considered a "call to action and evocation of human potential." The song appears on Legend's new album, Evolver, which is scheduled for a October 28, 2008 release.1
