John Grahame is an American professional hockey player currently playing for the Avangard Omsk in the Continental Hockey League in Russia. Grahame previously played in the National Hockey League from 1999 to 2008.

NHL Career

Grahame was originally drafted 229th overall in the 1994 NHL Draft by the Boston Bruins. He chose to attended college before joining the NHL, enrolling at Lake Superior State University. In 1997, Grahame was assigned to the Providence Bruins, a Bruins American Hockey League affiliate. He made his NHL debut in 1999, playing 24 games his first year. In 2003, Grahame was traded by the Bruins to the Tampa Bay Lightning. The following year he helped the team win the 2004 Stanley Cup Championship. Grahame then signed as a free agent with the Carolina Hurricanes in 2006. Shortly after the 2007-08 season, Grahame signed with the Avangard Omsk in the Continental Hockey League.
