John Galliano

John Galliano is a British fashion designer known for his two labels Galliano and Dior. Producing six couture and ready to wear collections a year, Galliano is also a favorite among celebrities wearing his dresses on the red carpet.

Galliano considers his fashion to be a level of seduction. In 2005 and 2006 he created couture gowns for actress Charlize Theron, whom he considers his muse. Theron has also become the face of Dior's "J'Adore" perfume and Riley Keough is the face of "Miss Dior Cherie" perfume. Other celebrities that have worn his dresses include Cate Blanchett and Nicole Kidman.

Finding Inspiration

Finding inspiration comes in many different places for Galliano, such as on his morning run. Every day at 6am Galliano takes a six mile run along the Seine River and takes in the people and lighting of that hour. In 2000 he said that his boho meets hobo collection was inspired when he jogged past homeless people lined along the river.
