Joe Crede was drafted in 1996 by the Chicago White Sox in the 5th round of the amateur draft. He played for the team's minor league organization before making his major league debut in 2000.
Back Injury
In 2007, Crede was on the injury list for most of the season with a back injury, and had back surgery at the end of the season. His back continued to trouble him in 2008.3
