Lizz Winstead, creator of The Daily Show, invited editors Moe Tkacik and Tracie Egan of Jezebel to appear at her weekly stage show "Thinking and Drinking". Egan and Tkacik arrived drunk, and made a number of inappropriate statements; for example, Tkacik said she never reported being date raped "...because it was a load of trouble and I had better things to do, like drinking more."¹ In a later blog post, Egan said they were trying to be funny, but the comedy fell flat.²
