Jessica Hardy Banned Substance
21-year-old swimmer Jessica Hardy was reported to have tested positive for the banned stimulant clenbuterol at the U.S. Olympic Swimming Team Trials. Hardy denies ever using a performance enhancing drug. The results come just two weeks before the 2008 Summer Olympics are set to begin in Beijing on August 8. Hardy may lose her spot on the U.S. Olympic Swim Team.1
