Jerome Corsi Detained Kenya
Author Jerome Corsi was deported from Kenya while promoting his book The Obama Nation, officially because he lacked a proper work permit. He was detained by the government on October 6, 2008, and sent away on a flight to London.1 Corsi had planned to present Barack Obama's half-brother George Obama with a $1,000 "goodwill" gift, and to hold a press conference detailing "deep secret ties" between Obama and "a section of the Kenyan government leaders."2
Corsi's controversial book makes accusations that Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is a "secret Muslim" who is "seething with black rage."3
