Jay-Z The Blueprint 3
The Blueprint 3 is the title of Jay-Z's upcoming eleventh studio album. The album was originally intended to be released in 2008, but it has since been pushed back until 2009. According to Kanye West, the album's producer, the release date was pushed back in order to record more material.1

Background Information
Jay-Z debuted the song, "History," on November 5, 2008 on New York's Hot 97 radio station. During an on-air interview, Jay-Z confirmed "History" would be included on The Blueprint 3. Other tracks confirmed for the album include, "Jockin' Jay-Z (Dope Boy Fresh)" and "Swagger Like Us."
"Swagger Like Us" was first released on T.I.'s album, Paper Trail in September 2008 but it will also be released on The Blueprint 3. There will also be a remix included on the album featuring Young Jeezy, Rick Ross and Nas.
This is the third installment in the Blueprint series and will be Jay-Z's final album for Def Jam. The Blueprint was released in 2001. The Blueprint 2: The Gift & the Curse was released the following year in 2002.
