Javon Walker
Javon Walker is an American football]player who currently plays for the Oakland Raiders in the National Football League. Walker is expected to miss the rest of the 2008 season after suffering an ankle injury on November 9, 2008, that will require surgery.1

Brief Biography
Walker began playing football in his junior year of high school. He attended Jones County Junior College along with future NFL receiver, Deion Branch. After two years, Walker decided to enroll at Florida State University. Two years later he was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the first round of the 2002 NFL draft. In 2005, after settling a despite with Packer management, Walker tore his ACL, and was sidelined for the rest of the 2005 season. In 2006, Walker signed a five-year $40 million contract with the Denver Broncos, and only spending one year in Denver, on March 4, 2008, Walker became an Oakland Raider.
Las Vegas Mugging
According to Las Vegas police, Walker was found injured and unconscious at an intersection the morning of June 16, 2008. He had reportedly been assaulted and robbed, sustaining an orbital fracture to his skull.2 Walker was reported to be in "fair condition" after being transported to Sunrise Medical Center and treated for his injuries.2 According to a local newspaper, the assault followed a weekend of revelry, in which Walker was spotted at a nightclub spraying the crowd with Dom Perignon Rose champagne.3
