Professional basketball forward Jason Thompson plays in the NBA. He was the 12th overall pick by the Sacramento Kings in the 2008 NBA draft.
In January of 2009, Thompson was subject to a prank from the Sacramento Kings veterans. The rookie Thompson allegedly failed to bring bagels and cream cheese to practice as instructed, so unnamed Kings veterans filled his Cadillac Escalade with popcorn.1

College Career Highlights
Thompson attended Rider University where he majored in communications. He was named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Player of the Year as a senior and earned First Team All-Conference honors in his junior and senior seasons. He was honored as the MAAC Defensive Player of the Year in his final two seasons. He finished his collegiate career as Rider's third all-time leading scorer, all-time leading rebounder, and all-time leading shot blocker. He posted 54 career double-double performances.2
