Jason O'Mara
Jason O'Mara is an Irish born actor. He grew up in Dublin, Ireland and loved to play rugby. While playing he was injured but this lucky turn of events allowed him to be cast in a school play. He was totally enticed with acting and wanted to pursue it as a career. He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin with a BA in Drama and Theater then moved to London, England.
Light The Lights
He began working in some of the finest theaters in Ireland and England some of which included the Royal Shakespeare Company, The Almeida Theater, London's West End, and the Gate Theater in Ireland. Some of his theater performances were The Jew of Malta, Popcorn, The Homecoming and Bash, for which he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor.
Television
Jason O'Mara also had roles in television with BBC and the mini series Playing the Field, Berkeley Square, High Stakes and Monarch of the Glen. In the United States his first television performance was in the highly acclaimed Steven Spielberg television production Band Of Brothers. He has also made guest appearances in CSI Miami, The Closer Men In Trees, and Criminal Minds. Jason O'Mara currently has the starring role in the television series Life on Mars.
