Jason Mesnick
Washington executive and single father Jason Mesnick was one of the final two men (out of 25) who competed for the love of Deanna Pappas in the fourth season of the reality television series The Bachelorette. During the finale, Mesnick confided to the camera that he was prepared to propose marriage to Pappas. Ultimately, Pappas chose Mesnick's rival Jesse Csincsak.
Mesnick is slated to star in his own version of The Bachelor. The series will air beginning of January 2009.1

The Bachelorette
The Bachelorette is a reality television show that groups 25 men in one house and has them vie for the affections of a single woman. Each week one or more of the contestants are voted off the show in the part of the program called the "Rose Ceremony." In the ceremony, the Bachelorette gives roses to the suitors she would like to stay in the game. Those who do not receive a flower are sent packing.
