Early Life

Jarron Thomas Collins was born in Northridge, California on December 2, 1978. He attended high school at Harvard-Westlake Prep. He continued his education at Stanford University. In 2001, Collins was selected by the Utah Jazz with the 52nd pick in the NBA draft.¹

Pro Career

In his first season with the Jazz, Collins appeared in 70 games and averaged 6.4 points. He was a starter for 68 games during that year. Since his rookie year, he has evolved into a role player off the bench, starting no more than 41 games in the past six seasons. As of 2008, Collins has career averages of 4.4 points, 3.2 rebounds and 17.4 minutes per game.²
