Jarrell Kelly
Jarrell Kelly allegedly killed actor, Armand Jones as well as wounded another man outside a Denny's restaurant in Anaheim, CA on March 17, 2006.
Kelly was already serving a three-year state prison term for unrelated crimes when he was charged with one count of murder, one count of attempted murder and three counts of second-degree robbery, plus sentencing enhancements for gang activity on September 9, 2008.1

Murder at Denny's
- Jarrell Kelly and Damon Hill are members of a Long Beach gang. On March 16, 2008, they allegedly robbed Giovanni Boyd and Dwayne Washington at gunpoint in an Anaheim Denny's restroom. Shortly after the robbery occurred, Armand Jones a friend of Boyd and Washington, entered the restroom. Hill and Kelly also robbed Jones at gunpoint and then Hill, Kelly and a small group that was with them ran out through the restaurant with Jones chasing after them. Out in the restaurant's parking lot, Hill and Kelly allegedly shot Jones in the chest and then shot another victim in the head. Jones died doorway of the restaurant but the other victim survived. Neither of the victims were gang members.1
