Volleyball Career
Gibb began playing volleyball in 2000 while attending the University of Utah. He joined the Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) that same year and was selected as the AVP's most improved player in 2004. In 2005, with then-partner Stein Metzger, Gibb finished the AVP season with four first place finishes. The Gibb-Metzger team was selected as the AVP team of the year and Gibb was named the AVP MVP. Also in 2005, Gibb began competing in the Federation Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), where he was named the FIVB top rookie. Gibb changed partners in 2006, to play with Sean Rosenthal.5
