Jade Ray

Jade Ray is a former student of Mount Miguel High School in Spring Valley, California, who sued her former choir teacher, Heather Hargett, and the Grossmont School District, for $75,000 in July 2008. Ray alleges that Hargett kicked her and called her "ugly" after Ray questioned the cost of a $15 choir t-shirt.¹
