Jack Wagner is an American television actor and musician. He was born in 1959 in Washington, Missouri. As a child Wagner enjoyed acting in school and community productions but his true passion was to become a professional golfer. While attending the University of Missouri, Wagner won the state golf championship. This accomplishment gave him the courage to apply for a sports scholarship to the University of Arizona. Not giving up he applied for the drama program and was awarded a full scholarship to the University of Arizona. After graduating college in 1982, Wagner moved to Los Angeles where he found work as a Universal tour guide. He landed the role of Andrew "Frisco" Jones a year later.

Wagner made a brief return to gossip pages in February 2007, when he was romantically linked with recently divorced actress—and fellow Melrose Place alum—Heather Locklear.1 In June 2008, the relationship was again noted in reports that Locklear was seeking treatment for mental health issues.2
