J&B Meats Recall
On October 13, 2007, J&B Meats Corp. announced it was recalling over 170,000 pounds of beef due to concerns about a possible E. Coli contamination. The meat was sold under Topps and Sam's Club labels.1

- Topps Premium 100% Pure Sirloin Beef Sirloin Steak Burgers: six third-pound homestyle burgers (use by date: 6/22/08)
- Topps 100% Pure Ground Beef Hamburgers: 32 quarter pounders (use by dates: 6/12/08, 6/18/08, 6/22/08)
- Topps 100% Pure Ground Beef Hamburgers: 12 quarter pounders (use by date: 6/18/08)
- Sam's Choice Backyard Gourmet Beef Burgers, 80/20: 12 quarter pound round patties (use by date: 3/8/08)
E. Coli Symptoms
Symptoms of E. Coli can last up to five days. They include:
- Stomach cramps
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
- Fatigue
