In August 2008, website Bloody-Disgusting "discovered" the trailer for the 2008 remake of It's Alive. Directed by Josef Rusnak, the cast will include Bijou Phillips, James Murray and Skye Bennett.1
Like the original It's Alive released in 1974, the remake will be about a "monstrous homicidal vampire baby that embarks on a violent killing spree."2
The remake will be distributed by Millennium Films. A release date has not yet been announced.3
The "extremely long trailer," which is nearly four minutes long, depicts a young couple moving into a new house with a baby on the way. Upon the baby's birth, it causes a bloody massacre at the hospital. The child causes more carnage when it is brought home. The trailer ends with the tagline, "Be very, very quiet."1
