Israeli Airport Suicide
June 24, 2008: An Israeli soldier committed suicide during a departure ceremony for French President Nicolas Sarkozy from an airport in Tel Aviv. Bodyguards quickly escorted Sarkozy and his wife, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, onto their plane in the wake of the incident.1
