Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan
The Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan is a militant fundamentalist Islamist group based in Tajikistan and parts of Taliban-controlled Afghanistan. The Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan is also connected to a splinter faction known as the Islamic Jihad Union, a group known for planning several terrorist attacks in Uzbekistan and Germany.1
