Iranian Gas Crisis

Though an oil-rich nation, Iran imports much of its oil and sells it to its citizens at a subsidized price. When the government instituted rations for subsidized gas, many gas stations were vandalized or burned in protest. Fast Facts:

2. Iran does not have enough oil refineries to utilize its own resources.
