IPod Alarm Clock

Wake up to music with an iPod alarm clock. First brought to popularity by iHome, iPod alarm clocks are available from many manufacturers and with many different features. In August of 2008, iHome debuted a rotating iPod alarm clock which takes advantage of the iPod Touch's variable aspect screen.¹

Make an Alarm Clock from (Almost) Any iPod

All iPods except the Shuffle running firmware 2.1 or later have an alarm clock feature. Simply activate the alarm from the Extras menu, set the time and choose a playlist, and hook up the iPod to an external speaker. The chosen playlist will begin at the specified time.²
