On July 4, 2008, the Colombian military released a video of the operation which rescued Ingrid Betancourt and several other FARC hostages. FARC (Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia) is the Spanish acronym for the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia.
