Ikaruga Dot Eater

Dot Eater is one of 12 attainable achievements in the Xbox 360 game, Ikaruga. The Dot Eater Achievement will be rewarded when a player finishes any level without ever shooting a single bullet, and is worth ten points. It is considered to be one of the two toughest achievements in the game, along with "Unstoppable" (where players must beat the entire game without ever using a continue).

The best way to successfully attain Dot Eater is to go to the first chapter and play it on an Easy setting. The only action you're allowed to take is "Change Polarity," so it might be a good idea to unmap all the other functions on your controller. This way you won't accidentally fire a bullet and ruin all your progress! When you get to the first chapter boss, you don't have to kill him... you just have to survive for 90 seconds, and then he will go away.
