Ice-T vs. Soulja Boy

After Ice-T commented that the music of Soulja Boy "single-handedly killed hip-hop," Soulja Boy fired back in a YouTube clip, arguing that Ice-T was too old to understand his music and lacked a modern cultural sensibility.

In a video response, Ice-T tells Soulja Boy that he does indeed appreciate modern hip-hop, including the work of Lil Wayne and Young Jeezy. He challenges Soulja Boy to write more thoughtful songs and lyrics.²
