Ian McKellen Hobbit

Author J.R.R. Tolkien's novel The Hobbit is set to come alive on the "big screen" in 2010. Ian McKellen has stated on his website that he is more than willing to reprise his The Lord of the Rings role as Gandalf in the Hobbit film. Gandalf is a wizard who lived in Middle-earth for over 2000 years, searching for the evil Sauron, as Sauron sought dominion over the world.

On March 26, 2008, Ian McKellen answered "yes" to a fan's question on his official website about playing the role of Gandalf once again. Now, McKellen is just waiting to be asked. Fast Facts:
