Apple released its new version of the popular iTunes music player application at the Apple Let's Rock Event on September 9, 2008. The new iTunes 8 offers several new features including iTunes Genius, which generates playlists based on similar music in the users' iTunes library. iTunes 8 can be downloaded for free on the Apple website.¹
