ISRO
The Indian Space Research Organization, ISRO, is a part of India's Department of Space.1 The ISRO has launched several rockets and satellites into space. ISRO is the Indian counterpart to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, the China National Space Administration and the European Space Agency. The ISRO has planned two unmanned lunar missions, Chandrayyan-1 and Chandrayyan-2, to orbit the moon, explore its surface and conduct several experiments.2 3
