IPod Vending Machine
On May 7, 2005, Boing Boing reported on a photo taken by one of their readers of an iPod vending machine located in an Atlanta airport.1 One of these machines in Concourse A of the airport was reported to have sold $55,000 in iPod merchandise after its first month at that location.2 iPod Vending Machines are now available at multiple airports, as well as scattered supermarkets throughout The United States.3

Macy's
In 2006, Macy's stores began adding 180 iPod vending machines to select Macy's locations nationwide.7 400 more vending machines were ordered and distributed in July 2008, under the name eSpot.8
