The iPod Nano is a flash-based portable music player, created to replace the iPod Mini. In order for users to download music, they must install iTunes on their computer, then use the docking connector. There are pre-loaded games available on the Nano, along with the third version giving the ability to install games downloaded via the iTunes store. A single charge will give users up to five hours of video playback or 24 hours of audio playback.

Versions

The iPod Nano has been released in three different versions. As new versions have been released, they have gotten smaller in size and larger in memory. Version 1 were released in 1GB, 2GB and 4GB sizes, version 2 released in 2GB, 4GB and 8GB while version 3 were released in only 4GB and 8GB. The third version added video capabilities that prior models did not have.
