Entries

  • Sean's entry: 1 | 2 - Some of this is just for LOLs but there is also some real content here on the subject of time travel. I have made some adjustments to the Mahalo layout based on my own time travel experiences. Also should let you guys know that Mahalo were purchased by Google in 2011. Please don’t use this knowledge to corrupt the timeline. In all seriousness this subject can be greatly expanded upon, are they any MIT graduates at Mahalo? :D
  • Calvin's entry - Dear Mahalo, First off, I love your site and I think human-powered search is definitely the wave of the future. Second, attached are my entries into your IPhone Contest--I have included the following search terms: 1. SAT 2. ACT 3. PSAT I look forward to hearing from you! PS: Do you guys have any extra, free size-M t-shirts laying around? I would love to sport my love for Mahalo.com around the bustling streets of Chicago. Just a thought... :)
  • Christopher's entry - Hello! I am submitting this page on "String Theory" for consideration in the iPhone contest. I have included a link to a REAL working page, but I have also included the dreamweaver file also. I hope these two version are acceptable for entering. Also - my page, to my knowledge has all the requirements for the contest, but I spent a lot of time and effort on this entry - so if it falls short in anyway, I would beyond appreciate it if you could let me know so that I may revise and re-enter.
  • Chyi-Dean's entries: 1 | 2 - To whom it may concern: I would like to enter your iPhone contest. Thank you for taking the time for reading my entry (:
  • Aaron R's entry - Hello, I am submitting my SeRP on Utah for consideration in the iPhone contest. I spent quite a bit of time on this page to make it everything that it can be and from what i read it looks like i meet all the requirements. Anyways, i love what Mahalo is doing for search and I'm glad that i am able to help.
  • Aaron M's entries: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 Since I was accepted as a PTG yesterday, I went through and created pages for all of my current entries and added one for Brigham Young University. I am glad you all held this contest because it's what brought me to Mahalo and to sign up as a PTG!
  • Mihnea's entries: 1 | 2 | 3 - Here is the page I've made for your contest. I hope I am eligible for the contest as I am living in Romania, Europe. I am craving for that iPhone because it will reach Europe at the end of this year. However, if I won't win one, I want Mahalo to use my article. Keep up the good work!
  • Jeff H's entries: 1 | 2 - I am a part time guide who submits to Mahalo to support the Wiki Foundation. I have created two serps and hope that one of them is good enough to win the iPhone.
  • Julie's entry: The Jungle Book is up at Greenhouse.mahalo.com... I don't know if its been accepted yet by the quality controllers, I just submitted it this morning. Thanks! Julie
  • Ravi's entry: Dear Selection Committee, I hope you enjoy my submission. My term was "Machining" and my primary aim was to tap into the DIY spirit of most Americans. Enjoy! Warmly, Ravi
  • Keith's entry: I'll throw my hat into the ring. I had a lot of fun creating that page and felt I was really only limited by the 5-6 links rule for categories, otherwise this would be one chock full page of goodies. Mahalo! Keith
  • Michael G's entries: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 I created this SeRP as a PTG in the Greenhouse... It was just accepted into Mahalo a few hours ago, but I wanted to enter it as my contest entry... Thank you, and I look forward to hearing the results soon. I appreciate this opportunity
  • Heather's entries: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 I’m not sure if I need to enter these individually or all in one email, so here are my entries. I’ve just created these 4 SeRPs this week. I hope one is good enough to be a winner Thank you!
  • Jules K's entry: My chosen SeRP is "Mindmapping." Besides the uses of mindmapping I outline in the "Guide Note" section of the SeRP, I feel mindmapping may be very useful for the growth and management of Mahalo itself. I would be happy to discuss this with anyone on the Mahalo staff responsible for project management, design, business growth, etc.
  • Jessica's entry: I have a created a page for the submission to win an iphone. I am a fan of the site and a fan of MST3K and thought it would be nice to unite the two. I have attached my submission. Please let me know if you need anything else. Thanks! Jessica
  • Sheena's entry: I have attached a Mahalo page on Jenny Lewis that I have created as an entry for your iphone contest. You will see that it includes information about her childhood acting career, in addition to links for her band Rilo Kiley and solo record with the Watson Twins. I saw that Jenny Lewis was a related search on the Rilo Kiley Mahalo page and since it does not exist I hope you will use mine! Thanks, Sheena
  • Kevin's entry: Mine may not be as clever as some of the other entries, but it more than makes up for it in comprehensiveness and usefulness. I mean, I don't know how you can't have a Chris Webber page... Please let me know you received this entry. Thanks, Kevin
  • Chris Z's entry: Hey Mahalo! My friend told me about this contest so I decided to submit a page! And considering the prize is an iPhone I thought my Mahalo topic was suitable :). Even though the majority is a joke, there are actually interesting tidbits on this page (note the article about the government changing the alphabet order for election purposes...) - and best of all, it could easily be tweaked into a real mahalo page on the alphabet (or the letter i). Anyway - enjoy, hope you have a laugh or two. Chris Z.
  • Sarah O's entry: Okay, this is a SeRP I already did for you guys, but I was encouraged to enter it in the contest so here it is! (I'm emailing it rather than posting it on my LiveJournal because I wasn't sure how youall would feel about my doing that, as it's already a Mahalo SeRP.
  • Angel M's entry: Pretty shocked that I didn't see an entry for this particular subject on your wonderful website. And for the good of humanity, I think you're going to need one.
  • Joe T's entries: 1 | 2
  • Ricardo T's entry: Hello. I'm sending you my SeRP about "Voyager 2" for consideration in your iPhone contest. I hope I'm not too late on this! You can find my entry at the following URL: http://www.astronomiaonline.com/mahalo I also wanted to let you know that I really appreciate and support what you're doing, putting the emphasis on the human side of search. Thanks in advance, Ricardo T
  • Dave R's entry: Not only are Power Wheels flippin’ sweet! But, they can also be modified and tricked out! When I was a kid, only a few lucky ones had these bad boys. Now, it’s a quest to see who can create the most awesome version!
  • Kyle L: Awsome site. Awsome contest. Best of luck to everyone else. -Kyle L
  • Katie M's entry: Here is an entry for the iPhone contest. I know a lot of people search the web for Weight Watchers Information like recipes, support, and motivation. So here is a list of links I think will be useful.
  • Rory K's entry: Well, here's my submission for "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." It's a very well known cult film, like "This is Spinal Tap." I hope you enjoy it a bunch. It was really fun writing it, but being short on time, it was über stressful! But like Frank-N-Furter says, "Don't dream it. Be it."
  • Bill M's entry: I spend most of my days knee-deep in CSS, so it was the first thing I

thought of when I read about this contest. I hope you enjoy it, and thanks for the opportunity!
