Hurricane Norbert
Hurricane Norbert hit Puerto Charley of Baja California as a category two hurricane before weakening to a category one as it entered the Gulf of California. It made its second landfall over the Sonora coast of Mexico on October 12, 2008 and weakened into a tropical depression. Despite the weakening of the storm, areas of Texas near the Rio Grande river may still be prone to flooding and damage.1 2
