    • Good tips overall but I'd steer clear of sleep meds if you're not a regular prescribed user. I'm not and if I take an over the counter pill, the effect lasts way too long for me. You dont want to be sleepwalking off the plane so watch your timing. The better alternative in my opinion is Gravol. It relaxes you enough to ease into sleep and has the added benefit of being a buffer to motion sickness, even if you're not prone to this, it will make you more comfortable. I also agree with avoiding drinks or coffee, but make sure you're sufficiently hydrated.Planes are notoriously dry environments.
